Curlews Leavers 2023
Today we bid a fond farewell to our Year 6 leavers. We wish them all the very best when they start the next stage of their education in their new secondary schools. In the leavers’ assembly this morning the leavers’ video was played – you can watch this again below:
One of the highlights of Year 6 was our camp where we spent a day at Stithians Reservoir taking part in a range of watersports, followed by two nights of camping back at school and a day down on Holywell Beach. Some of the pictures from the camp can be seen in this video:
I hope these videos will bring back some good memories and that you will remember your time in Cubert School fondly. Please do keep in touch and let us all know how you are getting on.
Year 6, such a great time of my life. I was petrified of the sailing boats though I have a fear of water 🤣
Great to hear from you – hope things are going well in your new school. Can’t believe that it was nearly a year ago that we were out on those sailing boats!
Hope everything is going well,it barely feels like yesterday when we were camping. Also hope there’s some new mathematicians in the class.🤣
Everything is good thank you. Yes, it doesn’t seem like it was nearly a year ago that we were setting up those tents down in the environmental area. I hear you and several other Cubert pupils are flying the mathematical flag at your new school – well done! We have some good mathematicians this year – a record 22 are on Platinum or Super Platinum in Club 99 and one person has finished the whole challenge this year like you did!
How’s Treviglas🙂
