First Day at Camp

We have all had a fantastic day at Delaware Camp today.  The two groups took part in their first activity this afternoon.

Group 1 enjoyed a session of gorge walking.  The children spent time in the River Ply undertaking a series of challenges along the way, including sliding, jumping and clambering over the rocks.

It was great to see the children all succeed in overcoming their fears and enjoyed the experience.

Group 2 had a great time at Kit Hill in their canoeing session. 

After learning the basics of steering and controlling the boat, the group then played a series of games.  Again, it was fantastic to see everyone enjoying themselves and taking part.

We got back to the centre, had a delicious meal and then this evening, we have played a variety of games before going to the dorms for a full night’s sleep!!!
